Fairy tales do come true!
Every love story begins with “Once upon a time…” and this is ours.
Once upon a time, a great beauty of a soul was born, and, as these stories usually go, she had no idea the destiny intended for her and the roads she would travel to get there.
On a special day in 1975, a VW Type 2 Transporter bus was born. While her early childhood is shrouded in mystery, we know it wasn’t too long before she found her way to an honorable calling with a church in Southern California. She was cared for well and provided many trips to and from the place of worship and the congregation’s homes, for which she was rewarded with kindness. Although, after many years of cherished service, it became time to meander down a different road.
A voice whispered, “Go North” and so she did. She became a member of a loving family, living in a beautiful hamlet in Northern Oregon. She even got a name that matched her new spirit, Violet. For 15 years she was babied while she watched her friend’s and family’s children grow and prosper. She was pampered and surrounded by the heady scent of beautiful flowers and filled with love and laughter. Yet, again, the whispering came.
It was time to follow the winds of change. This time though, she did not know someone was searching just for her. The calling of their hearts was reaching far and wide to find the perfect fit as their fairy tale princess, although even they didn’t know it at the time!
On one rainy, blustery winter day the king and queen traveled far and wide searching for their princess. Low and behold, by the grace of God, they laid eyes upon her and it was love at first sight! They could palpably feel the love surrounding and emanating from her and their hearts echoed in synchronicity. With tears in the eyes of all who have loved her and those who’s love was new, she made her way to her new home in Idaho. And, as it happened each time before, with the new home she received her new name, Francie, in honor of the king’s mother. They each shared a spirit of whimsy, laughter, and love, it was perfect!
King Richard worked feverishly to get her ready for her first photo job with a family celebrating a joyous birthday. And so it came to be, surrounded by family and music, that Francie discovered her new calling – she is a PHOTO BUS!
And so it came to be, no matter what challenges may come, Francie had a new family filled with love, and they are all looking forward to their “happily ever ever”.
